Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Must hold one of the listed MA certifications.
• 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows, email, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through preparation, vital signs, and documentation.
• Assist with procedures and diagnostic equipment and maintain aseptic technique.
• Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider and record vitals.
• Perform clinic clerical functions and maintain workflow.
• Support clinic operations, patient flow, and communications among staff.
• Oversee scheduling, onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, and performance management.
• Address issues to improve clinic flow and quality patient care.
• Participate in meetings and ensure safety and infection control compliance.
• Provide leadership and staff development, and support for the clinical team.
• Collaborate with staff, leaders, and providers to deliver quality care.
