Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to deliver direct patient care, support examinations, and manage vital signs and documentation. You will assist with procedures, keep aseptic technique, and help streamline clinic operations while supporting staff scheduling and onboarding.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program, multiple national certifications, 2+ years of MA experience, BLS, and strong computer skills for clinic software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CAAHP- or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NPCE MA certifications listed by the program.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in Windows, email, and MS Office.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through patient preparation, vital sign collection, and documentation.
• Assist with procedures, exams, and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain aseptic techniques during preparation and medication administration.
• Greet patients and prepare them for the health care provider.
• Record vital signs and patient information accurately.
• Optimize clinic operations and patient flow.
• Oversee staff scheduling, onboarding, and education.
• Assist with payroll, timekeeping, and performance management.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and policy adherence.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver quality patient care.
