Ascension is seeking a dedicated professional for the Cardiology department at the Center for Advanced Medicine in Evansville, IN. This full-time daytime role involves coordinating shift operations, serving as a technical resource, and supervising staff while ensuring compliance with policies.

• Medical Assistant certification obtained prior to hire date.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

• Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
• Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
• Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
• Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
• Inventories clinical supplies and places supply orders to maintain desired levels. Receives and organizes the handling of medication samples.

Educación

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
