Job summary

Emplify Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support OB/GYN & URO/GYN services in Winona, MN. The role covers care from initial visit through follow-up, with responsibilities including vitals, chart updates, and assisting with procedures and virtual visits.

This 0.8 FTE position (64 hours bi-weekly) offers a day-time schedule Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday hours, and travel to La Crosse/Onalaska as needed within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Or High School Diploma with Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS CPR for healthcare workers required.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and update patient information in charting systems.
• Assist with procedures and virtual visits as needed.
• Support care from first visit to final follow-up.

What you need:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN

• OrHigh School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification

• BLS CPR for healthcare workers

• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.
