Emplify Health in Wisconsin is hiring a Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine at the La Crosse Clinic. This 0.9 FTE role offers hands-on support for in-clinic procedures, patient records, and collaboration with providers, nurses, and managers to ensure smooth patient care.

You will take vitals, prepare patients for exams, assist during visits and procedures, and administer injections. The position emphasizes work‑life balance with no weekends or holidays and a strong team culture that values

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN.
  • Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and set a welcoming tone for appointments.
  • Take vitals and prepare patients for examinations.
  • Assist providers during office visits and procedures.
