Job summary

Emplify Health, a clinic partnered with Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System, seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a compassionate, high-performing team. This role combines clinical tasks with patient-centered care in a 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, at the Moundview Friendship Clinic in Wisconsin.

You will greet patients warmly, update charts, take vitals, and support department projects while collaborating with providers and managers to enhance patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Graduate of MA/PN/VN program or NCLEX-PN eligible.
• High school diploma or equivalent with MA certification.
• BLS for healthcare workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with warmth and provide LOVE + MEDICINE.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vitals.
• Support department through project work.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses and managers to support patient care.

Education

Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or NCLEX-PN eligible

High School Diploma or equivalency with Medical Assistant Certification

What you will do:

• Provide LOVE + MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments


• Update patient information in charting systems


• Take vitals


• Assist with project work that supports the department.


• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.

What you need:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN


• Or


• High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification


• BLS for healthcare workers


• Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date.
