Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support internal medicine teams in Des Plaines, IL. The role includes greeting patients, taking vitals, documenting visits, and providing front office support.

Responsibilities may include phlebotomy and injections. Education ranges from a high school diploma to completion of an accredited medical assisting program, with CPR required and MA certification preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required; MA certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.
• Experience: At least 1 year in a medical office; on-the-job training provided if needed.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
