Endeavor Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for Internal Medicine in Des Plaines, IL. The position involves greeting patients, taking vitals and assisting with front desk tasks. Some travel to other sites may be required and phlebotomy/injections may be needed as part of patient care.

A high school diploma is required; medical assisting training is preferred. Hours are 20 per week: Monday and Friday 7AM-5PM, Tue-Thu 7AM-6PM, rotating Saturdays 7AM-1PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
