Jacob, Moshir- Staff- Internal Med Full Time Hourly 30-40 Main Campus, Toledo, OH, US

The Toledo Clinic's Internal Medicine Department, located at 4235 Secor Rd Toledo OH, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant. Qualified candidates will have completed an MA program and obtained an MA credential such as the RMA, CMA, or CCMA. The hours are Monday-Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm).

Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants. If qualified, sign on bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT-A). For employees that have not yet obtained or renewed their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants may be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.

General Summary

Assist providers with patient treatment, prepares patient for providers, and performs various clerical duties.

Works under the supervision of the Office Manager.

• Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
• Assist providers with patient care (i.e.: assisting with minor procedures/surgeries such as removing sutures, staples, moles, etc.).
• Various clerical duties (i.e.: answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling patient charts, etc.).
• Escorting patients to exam room.
• Preparing exam rooms.
• Sterilizing and preparing instruments.
• At the request of the physician, calling in prescription refills.
• Order and maintain exam room supplies and instruments.
• Follow up with lab work and/or x-rays.
