Job summary

Delta Medical Clinic in Burleson, TX is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to support a busy Internal Medicine practice. The role blends front-office and clinical duties, including vital signs, EKGs, venipuncture, injections, and patient education.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of MA experience in outpatient care, CPR/BLS, strong communication, and proficiency with eClinicalWorks. On-site, full-time with competitive benefits and a focus on patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Medical Assistant clinical experience in internal medicine or related outpatient specialty.
• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy and injection administration experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical documentation and patient intake skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital signs, histories, meds, and allergies.
• Perform EKGs, ABI, spirometry, and lab testing.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered.
• Assist providers with examinations, wound care, and dressings.
• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out; verify insurance and collect payments.
