IU Health is seeking compassionate individuals to support our orthopedic/sports medicine teams at Noblesville. You will room patients, manage messages and authorizations, and assist with clinical and front-office tasks to ensure smooth clinic flow.

The role requires phlebotomy experience and MA certification, with BLS and knowledge of ICD-10/CPT coding. A Medical Assistant program graduate is essential for this position in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifikationen

• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program required.
• Current certification in medical assisting from CMA/AMT/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC required.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, and ADA required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding required.
• TB validated or validation obtained within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Knowledge of Meaningful Use and Standard Work Programs within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of standard laboratory and medical procedures.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and third-party payers.
• Ability to master standard clinical competencies per current policy.

Aufgaben

• Room patients and support providers during clinic visits.
• Manage patient messages, paperwork, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with both clinical and administrative duties.
• Rooming patients and completing intake.
• Assisting providers with patient care.
• Managing patient messages.

• Preparing exam rooms and supporting clinic workflow.
