Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Medical Assistant II to serve as an ambassador at the assigned clinic, PSC, or Patient Registry team.

The MA delivers direct patient care, documents in the EHR, and supports administrative duties while fostering a compassionate patient experience. The role requires a Medical Assistant certificate and a high school diploma, with at least 1 year of back-office MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certificate and HS diploma required.
• Min 1 year experience in back-office MA preferred.
• BLS certification required or higher.
• Bilingual skills preferred (English + Spanish and/or Mandarin/Cantonese) depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care in clinical setting.
• Document patient data in EHR and provide clerical support.
• Support back-office processes and mentor MA team as needed.
