Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Georgia seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care across multiple sites. You will room patients, take vitals, perform lab duties, and assist clinicians with procedures under supervision.

You’ll also handle patient messaging, referrals, and scheduling as needed. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with BLS and CMA/RMA certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Two years of clinical practice preferred in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and taking vital signs and medical history.
• Perform labs, venipuncture, specimen collection and charting results.
• Administer medications and vaccines per policy and orders.
• Assist provider with procedures and patient education.
• Maintain clean work environment and assist training of teammates.
