Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or DD214 in lieu of a formal MA program or EMT.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• CMA or RMA certification from NHA, AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NRMA, NAHP, ARMA or NAHP required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to MA scope of practice and policies.
• Perform rooming tasks: vitals, history, meds reconciliation, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and labs; track results.
