Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. seeks a Medical Assistant in Concord, NC to support patient care in a fast-paced clinic. You will take vitals, document history, perform screenings, and assist providers with procedures and labs.

The role requires a completed Medical Assistant program or equivalent training, and current BLS certification. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military training in lieu of a formal program.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and maintains competency.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vitals, history, screenings, etc.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties, including POCT and CLIA-waived tests.
• Administers medications and vaccines per rights of medication administration.
• Manages referrals, scheduling, and patient communications.
• Cross trained to support related duties within department.
