Job summary

Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. seeks a Medical Assistant for the Charlotte clinic to support internal medicine services. The role involves clinical tasks, patient rooming, vitals, and assistantship to physicians in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will perform lab and point-of-care testing, manage medication administration, and help with scheduling and referrals. The position is full-time with standard daytime hours and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification or as required by division.
• Two years of clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vitals, medical history, and screenings.
• Assist providers with procedures and lab duties.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen processing, and POCT as allowed.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely.
• Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and patient messaging.
