Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Two years of experience as Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to messages and handle patient communications in the work queue.
• Perform rooming, vital signs, and health maintenance tasks.
• Conduct venipuncture, specimen handling, and POCT testing.
• Administer medications and vaccines following safety protocols.
• Assist with referrals, scheduling, and insurance authorizations.
• Maintain clean patient care areas and ensure supplies are stocked.
