Job summary

The role requires 0–2 years of relevant experience, CMA/CMMA-type certification, and BLS. A Medical Assistant program completion is required for new hires after Oct 12, 2026.

Qualifications

• Requires 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• New hires and promotions after October 12, 2026, require graduation from a Medical Assistant program.
• Requires a current certification in medical assisting from one of the listed national bodies.
• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare workers certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain/document vital signs.
• Assist providers with in-office procedures and treatments.
• Perform chart preparation and pre-visit review to ensure all necessary information is available for the provider.
• Review medical histories, medications, allergies, and test results prior to appointments.
• Support patient flow and coordinate follow-up care as needed.
