The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited medical assisting program with 330 clock hours, and current certification from recognized boards plus BLS. Competitive hourly pay and full-time hours offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with 330 clock hours.
• Must maintain current certification from a recognized medical assisting board.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record vital signs.
• Clean exam rooms and collect lab specimens as needed.
• Assist physicians and staff; coordinate with front office.
• Verify orders, document in EMR and maintain supplies.
• Perform electrocardiograms and point-of-care testing per policy.
• Handle clerical duties including registration, scheduling and filing.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Accredited medical assisting program with 330 clock hours

Current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT or equivalent

AHA BLS
