Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant at Wake Forest Health Network: High Point Westchester Medical Plaza – Immediate Care. The role requires 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday 7:30am–7:00pm and Saturday–Sunday 8:00am–5:00pm with a salary range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, history, vaccinations, and lab duties with CLIA-waived tests. Requires MA program graduation, BLS, and active certification from AAMA/CCMA/NCMA/AMT or

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• PEARS may be required within 1 year in select areas.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visits tasks including vital signs and history.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties.
• Performs venipuncture, specimen processing, and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely.
• Handles referrals, scheduling, and patient messaging.
