Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ATRIUM Health competency assessment is required.
• PEARS may be required within 1 year in select areas.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming and vital signs, medical history, screenings, and health maintenance tasks.
• Assists provider with procedures and performs lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely per medication rights.
• Maintains clean environment and ensures supplies and equipment are stocked.
