Advocate Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant in the Wake Forest Health Network: High Point Quaker Lane Obstetrics/Gynecology. The role requires BLS, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, and a relevant MA certification.

You will support patient care, assist physicians, perform routine lab tasks, and help manage clinic flow. The position operates Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with potential scheduling changes.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification options listed (CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA, etc.).

Aufgaben

• Prepare and room the patient for exam; record vitals and health data.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and safety guidelines.
• Assist Physician/APP with procedures such as pelvic exams and testing.
• Administer routine medications per orders or standing protocols.
• Coordinate referrals and follow pre-approved care algorithms; relay information.
• Communicate with the health care team to ensure smooth clinic flow.
• Support clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKG, lab tests under supervision.
• Deliver age-appropriate patient care and document care in records.
