Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Medical Assistant II to support ambulatory clinics within the Float Pool. Under supervision, you will assist providers, perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and manage clerical tasks to keep clinic flow smooth.

You will work a 9:00am–5:00pm schedule, Monday to Friday, with expectations for accurate documentation in the EMR and collaboration with the care team. A signing bonus may be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS or Heart Saver certification required.
• Medical Assistant credential approved by MA Department of Health required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy and point-of-care tests as needed.
• Assist with injections and routine clinical procedures as directed.
