Job summary

Qualifications

• Must maintain current certification from a recognized medical assisting certifying body.
• AHA BLS required; non-licensed must obtain before end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vitals and reviewing history.
• Assist physicians and staff; maintain rooms and supplies; process paperwork and records.
• Perform EKGs and point-of-care tests per policy.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and handle front-office duties.
• Upload and document patient information in EMR; coordinate with team for discharge and referrals.
