Job summary

Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. in Union Grove, WI, is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant for the Family Medicine department. The role involves venipuncture, patient rooming, vitals, and assisting physicians in procedures, with a 40-hour work week from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday (off Thursdays).

Responsibilities include medication administration, vaccines, lab tasks, and patient communications. Requires a High School diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military training in lieu.
• 2 years of verifiable MA experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vitals, history, screenings, medication reconciliation.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture.
• Administers meds and vaccines following safety protocols.
• Schedules appointments and handles referrals as needed.
• Maintains clean, stocked work area and proper equipment.
