Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Strong front office and scheduling skills.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and coding concepts helps.
• Basic math and accurate data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Perform EKGs as ordered.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient charts and documentation.
• Assist with scheduling-related tasks and appointment coordination.
• Support patient check-in and check-out workflows.
• Stock clinical supplies and monitor inventory levels.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms between patients.
• Assist nurses and providers with patient care and clinical procedures as needed.
• Crosstrain on scheduler responsibilities to provide team coverage and support.
