Job summary

Millennium Physician Group seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in outpatient and hospital settings. You will help with patient intake, exams, procedures, EHR documentation, and care coordination to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires MA program graduation, BLS, and experience in a physician or hospital environment; bilingual skills are a plus. Competitive benefits and a base salary range are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in a physician’s office, clinic, or hospital setting.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification or registration (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes and document vitals.
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per policy.
• Prepare, label, and process lab samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain infection control and safety across clinical areas.
• Document clinical data in the EHR and coordinate care transitions.
