Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in outpatient and hospital-based settings. You will take vital signs, assist with examinations, perform EKGs, collect specimens, manage documentation in the EHR, and coordinate patient flow to ensure timely care.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program, BLS, and relevant certifications; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification or registration (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive patient intakes and vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection.
• Prepare, label, and process lab samples and point-of-care tests.
• Document clinical data in the EHR accurately.
• Schedule and track patient appointments, referrals, and test results.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with authorizations and billing.
• Maintain infection control and prepare exam rooms with supplies.
