Millennium Physician Group is hiring a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support across outpatient and hospital-based settings. You will help manage patient flow, document care in the EHR, and assist with exams, procedures, immunizations, and lab work.

The ideal candidate has MA training, BLS, and EHR experience with Epic/Athena/Cerner; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care in a multi-site environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Certification or registration (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required.
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, Cerner or equivalent) preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conducts comprehensive patient intakes with vital signs and histories.
• Assists with examinations, procedures, and wound care.
• Performs EKGs, immunizations, and specimen collection per policy.
• Label, process, and report lab samples and point-of-care tests.
• Maintain infection control and equipment calibration.
• Support triage, care coordination, and transitions across settings.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Document data in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Schedule and track appointments, referrals, and test results.
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with prior authorizations and coding.
• Monitor inventory and prepare exam rooms with supplies.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety drills.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and teams to ensure coordinated care.
