Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• No experience required with MA certification OR 1 year of MA experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort according to standards.
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN.
• MA II responsibilities include administering injectables and advanced tasks.
• MA III responsibilities include high-level clinical procedures and mentoring staff.
