Job summary

CRH Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA/LPN/EMT) to support providers in Georgia urgent care clinics. You will handle patient intake, vital signs, basic nursing tasks, phlebotomy, specimen handling, and room preparation, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualified candidates have completion of an accredited clinical program and CMA certification preferred or willingness to obtain; LPN/EMT license required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited professional clinical program.
• Proof of CMA certification preferred or willing to obtain; license required for LPN, EMT or RT.
• Ability to work weekday and/or weekend shifts as needed.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as determined by location.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of electronic medical records.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Perform clinical intake including obtaining medical history, medications, chief complaint, vital signs and records in the EMR.
• Explain treatment procedures and prepare patient and exam room for examination.
• Position instruments and equipment and hand to the provider as directed.
• Administer medications, dress wounds, draw blood and assist provider with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests and lab tests and assist with x-ray setup where applicable.
• Complete medical charting and document services rendered and supplies used.
• Schedule follow-ups, referrals and patient callbacks; assist front desk as needed.
