Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
• LPNs, EMTs, Basic Machine Operators, and Radiologic Technologists must maintain applicable current licensure or certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Outpatient, urgent care, or clinical experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong patient-service, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in patients creating a professional clinic experience.
• Assist with patient registration, documentation, and other front-office needs.
• Prepare patients for examination and document complaints, vitals, meds, and allergies.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, minor procedures, wound care, and discharge.
• Perform lab testing, venipuncture, and specimen collection within scope of practice.
