CRH Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care clinics in Georgia. The role serves as the liaison between patients and providers, performing clinical intake, vital signs, basic procedures, and ensuring smooth patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include completion of an accredited clinical program, CMA certification preferred or willing to obtain, and ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited professional clinical program.
• Proof of CMA certification preferred or willing to obtain; license required for LPN, EMT or RT.
• Ability to work weekday and/or weekend shifts; ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of electronic medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and assure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
• Perform clinical intake including obtaining medical history, current medications, chief complaint, and vital signs.
• Explain procedures and prepare patient for examination; assist provider as directed.
• Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, draw blood, and process specimens.
• Administer medications, dress wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Ensure accurate medical charting and coordinate referrals or testing as needed.
• Assist front desk staff with registration and other clerical duties.
