Job summary

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; CPR certification is required, MA certification preferred but not required. One year of medical office experience is expected; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office or related field required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit
• Provide front office support as needed
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required
