Scripps Health in Torrey Pines, La Jolla, CA is seeking a General Surgery clinic team member. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no evening or weekend shifts, providing a stable and rewarding opportunity.

You will room patients, check vitals, assist with procedures, prep the clinic, and coordinate appointments, while documenting in EPIC and maintaining a safe, organized environment that supports the physician’s practice.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients, check vitals, and assist with procedures.
• Clinic prep and follow Provider-specific protocols.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Organizes and performs patient care services that support the physician’s practice.
• Relaying instructions from the physician to the patient or authorized person.
• Collecting patient data in person and by phone.
• Documenting patient concerns, messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the physician's review.
• Scheduling of appointments and procedures.
• Complete and accurate message taking.
• Routing messages to the appropriate area for direction.
• Order and referral entry, acquisition of pre-certifications
• Setting up of cases in EPIC plus basic registration and updating of demographics
• Setting up for in-office procedures

Your job duties:
