Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant in Minnesota to join our patient-centered care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, acting as both a front-desk liaison and clinical support.

The role covers vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, and medication administration, with strong emphasis on accurate documentation and coordination of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant (preferred in Primary Care).
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate referrals and tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, and outreach to patients.
