Job summary

OnePeak Medical Office & Corporate invites applications for a Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver high-quality patient care. You will manage administrative tasks, room patients, and help with education and scheduling in a fast-paced clinic.

The position requires a high school diploma, current BLS/CPR, and preferred CMA/CPT credentials or 6 months of MA experience. Travel to other clinics may be needed and HIPAA/OSHA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS and/or CPR/AED Certification is required.
• Recent medical assistant experience is preferred (minimum 6 months).
• CMA and CPT certifications are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Medical Assistant for the designated provider(s).
• Assist providers with their Inbox, manage prescription refills and faxes.
• Room patients, maintain examination and treatment rooms and equipment.
• Prepare patient charts, including outside lab results and visit notes.
• Contribute to patient chart documentation and EHR/EPM use.
• Deliver patient education and assist with scheduling and front desk tasks.
• Handle callbacks and patient portal inquiries; cross-train in lab, phlebotomy, and front desk duties.
• Attend trainings and adhere to HIPAA and OSHA policies.
