Job summary

OnePeak Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians with both administrative tasks and patient care in a fast-paced clinic. You will help with rooming, intake, and chart preparation to ensure smooth visits and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include managing the inbox, prescriptions, refills, and faxes; maintaining and stocking exam rooms; delivering patient education; and assisting with scheduling and patient portal tasks while ensuring HIPAA and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• CMA certification strongly preferred and CPT certification strongly preferred.
• Recent medical assistant experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Medical Assistant for designated provider(s).
• Assist with inbox, prescriptions, refills and faxes.
• Room patients, manage intake procedures and chart prep.
• Prepare, stock, clean, and maintain exam and treatment rooms.
• Document patient charts and lab results in EHR/EPM systems.
• Provide patient education and assist with scheduling.
• Support front desk tasks and patient portal communication.
• Crosstrain across clinic areas including phlebotomy.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations and company policies.
