Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct service in health center areas, including sexual and reproductive health as appropriate.
• Provides patients with information on Planned Parenthood services, contraception options, and funding.
• Contributes to health center productivity goals.
• Screens financial, medical and social history with proper documentation.
• Demonstrates PPMM customer service standards.
• Front Office: check-in/out, collects payments and insurance information; billing as needed.
• Enters patient information into the Electronic Practice Management System (EPM).
• Schedules appointments and referrals; contacts insurers for benefits and authorizations.
• Performs billing tasks and ensures accuracy of charges within timelines.
• Performs lab testing including pregnancy tests and STI/HIV screening.
• Prepares lab samples and maintains logs; ensures proper lab operations.
