Medi-Weightloss of Warwick, RI is seeking a Medical Assistant with front office expertise to join our busy weight-management clinic. You will handle patient vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, and daily administrative tasks in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has Medical Assistant certification, experience with insurance and verification of benefits, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to support physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification.
• Front office experience, including insurance and VOB knowledge.
• Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• Prior experience and training in exercise (a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient vitals and EKGs, perform phlebotomy, and handle front office duties.
• Answer multi-line phone system, route calls, and conduct follow-up with patients.
• Monitor clinic inventory, scan/upload documents, and train staff as needed.
• Support clinic marketing efforts and promote profitability and success.
• Document patient progress notes in EMR and assist with referrals.
