Job summary

Marathon Health Inc is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant in South Carolina. The Medical Assistant will work closely with a physician to enhance patient care and provide excellent service. Responsibilities include escorting patients, taking vitals, performing clinical tasks, and managing administrative duties at the front desk. A minimum of one year of experience alongside certification is required. Competitive health benefits and a pay range of $20.00-$24.00/hr are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Reviews previous medical information and gathers relevant health updates.
• Takes vitals, performs blood draws, administers medications and immunizations.
• Partners with the care team to develop patient plans and address care gaps.
• Front desk duties including scheduling and documentation.
• Records accurate data in the medical record.
