Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in Ridgeland, MS. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience.

You will escort patients, take vitals, perform blood draws, administer injections, assist with procedures, and handle front-desk duties including scheduling and medical records.

CPR/BLS certification is required at start date; MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant preferred.
• MA certification or registration preferred in relevant states.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out tasks.
• Record data accurately in medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Process test results and provide timely results via e-message, mail, or phone as directed.
