Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in supporting primary care providers and delivering high-quality patient care. The Medical Assistant will function as both a front-desk liaison and a clinical team member, assisting with patient flow and care delivery.

The role emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, patient communication, and collaboration with physicians to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required by state.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are stocked and clean.
• Review patient information and gather relevant health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as ordered by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Document in medical records and process results communicated by providers.
