Job summary

Marathon Health in Greenfield, IN is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience, performing both front-desk duties and clinical tasks.

You will take vitals, assist with procedures, manage specimens, administer meds as directed, and coordinate referrals, while supporting a patient-centered workflow in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification/registration as MA preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Support care team in developing patient care plans and addressing gaps.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
