Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers seeks a dedicated Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our Lady Lake office. The role supports front and back office functions, manages patient flow, takes vitals, and assists clinicians during consultations and procedures.

Responsibilities include documenting charts, coordinating tests (labs, X-rays), preparing exam and recovery rooms, and providing discharge instructions. Candidates should have MA training or equivalent experience; EHR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required; MA program preferred or 2+ years clinical MA experience.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and support provider and patient needs by managing daily patient flow and liaising between providers and patients.
• Monitor clinical messages and relay responses to patients and providers.
• Organize, clean, and prepare exam, procedure, and recovery rooms.
• Take and record patients’ vitals and note changes or concerns.
• Complete documentation for patient charts; review medications, allergies and orders.
• Provide discharge/follow-up instructions and educational materials to patients.
