Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Network is seeking a Medical Assistant - Front/Back Swing to support providers and care teams in a fast-paced clinic setting. You will gather patient information, take vitals, assist with procedures, and help re-process instruments under supervision.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, a certified Medical Assistant credential (NHA/AMCA) and BLS. At least one year of related experience is preferred, with strong patient communication and confidentiality practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA or AMCA.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of related medical assisting experience in a physician's office or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document visit reason.
• Provide injections, immunizations, and assist with procedures as ordered by provider.
• Document information in the EMR and manage communications, lab results, prescriptions, and referrals.
• Maintain patient areas, assist with scheduling, insurance verifications, and related admin tasks.
