Family Care Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic patients under physician supervision. You will assist providers, measure vital signs, manage patient flow, and coordinate with staff and pharmacy.

The role involves travel within the Colorado Springs region to support multiple clinics. A completed medical assistant program and CPR/BLS are preferred; EMR experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of formal training program as a medical assistant required.
• 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• RMA or CMA certification or preferred.
• BLS preferred.
• Current driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document chief complaint, allergies and medications.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Communicate with patients as instructed by physician or advanced provider.
• Provide written prescriptions and document appropriately.
• Review and upload reports and lab results into EMR.
• Triages and processes portal/phone messages and coordinates with providers.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel follow-ups in the EMR.
• Perform injections and Point of Care tests as directed.
• Assist with front desk coverage and onboarding new staff.
• Travel between clinics to provide back-up/float coverage.
