Overview:

Sentara Medical Group is offering a sign-on bonus for qualified Medical Assistants! Qualified new grads with CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT-Basic certifications are eligible. This full-time Float Pool position requires travel in the Southside, with differential pay for travel and flexibility.

Perform patient care and administrative tasks under the supervision of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, or LPNs.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure:

• Active CMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic (Required)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire

Experience:

• 1 year of clinical or administrative experience (Required)
• Phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
