Job summary

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our float pool. You will support multiple clinics and providers, working with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations.

Responsibilities include triage calls, obtaining authorizations, vitals, immunizations, phlebotomy, and exam-room preparation, while maintaining quality documentation and superb customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.

Granger Medical Clinic is looking for a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant to join our float pool. In this role, you will provide essential support to various clinics and providers, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care while helping our clinic run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting telephone triage and communicating with parents/guardians
• Managing insurance authorizations and prior approvals
• Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc.)
• Administering immunizations
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Preparing and maintaining exam rooms
• Accurately documenting patient information
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
• Professional verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certification required

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
