Job summary

PCHC's Helen Hunt Health Center is seeking a Medical Assistant (FLOAT) to support multiple clinics. As a float MA, you will cover for team members, assist providers, and contribute to high-quality patient care across the site.

This full-time, on-site role rewards adaptability and teamwork, with a shift differential and comprehensive benefits. Required MA training, Healthcare Provider BLS certification, and active certification is encouraged (CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Evidence of Medical Assistant training and essential job functions or MA Certification.
• Healthcare Provider BLS within 2 weeks of hire; initial certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Float across clinic sites to support care delivery.
• Assist providers with patient care, treatments, and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by providers.
• Draw blood and process lab specimens per protocol.
• Manage pre-visit planning, chart reviews, and medication refills.
